Uganda is situated in the heart of Africa astride the equator, it is a land where tropical forest meets roaring savannah, where lakes meet snow capped mountains, and where the mighty Nile, the longest river in the world starts its 4000 mile journey from Lake Victoria to the Mediterranean Sea.
